2020 has been a tough year and the pandemic has changed the way non-profit organizations fundraise. This provided our D2D team to sit down and rethink and come up with more innovative methods to raise funds. Passenger Van funded by D2D through our 2017 One Country One Film Festival
Two years ago, the $137,000 raised from our One Country One Film Festival helped Sheway purchase a new passenger van. From transporting patient families to getting food from the food bank, the van has become an integral part of their daily operations.
In partnership with the Young Ambassador Program and D2D Destiny Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation celebrated the inaugural Shine Mother’s Day Tea which proudly raised over $400,000 in support of the Sunny Hill Enhancement Initiative.
