D2D Presents: 2024 Restyle for a Cause
This year we launched the Restyle for a Cause event; where we repurpose old shoes and have youth paint and design a pair to make it new.
The atmosphere buzzed with creativity as many young, talented kids, each passionately immersed in painting and designing their shoes.
Artistic visions coming to life highlighted the boundless imagination and skills of youth.
It was not only a celebration of art and self-expression but also a powerful initiative to support a great cause.
The inaugural event raised $30,000 for BC Children’s Hospital!

For Children We Care Gala – 2024
On Friday night, May 10, 2024, the BC Children's Hospital "For Children We Care Gala" raised an incredible $2,000,000 at the Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver. We’re proud to share that many of our D2D and YAP members volunteered and supported the event for over 7 hours — after a full school day! Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to help make this beautifully themed gala an unforgettable success!
