Congratulations to 2016 Paralympic Stephanie Chan for winning 4th place at the Paralympic Games in Rio, Brazil.
She is a history maker for Canadians as she had the best performance ever of a Canadian Table Tennis Player at the Paralympic Games! D2D is proud to walk this journey together with Stephanie and witness this historical moment!

Stephanie Chan, the recipient of one of our fundraising campaigns, is competing in the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games and has recently been advanced to table tennis women's single semi-finals.
On the behalf of D2D Destiny team, we wish Stephanie the best of luck in her match tomorrow, and trust that she will be a great representative of Canada!
D2D at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon 2017
Great weather, beautiful location, good cause. Last Sunday, July 17, our D2D members participated in the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation's annual Walk with the Dragon at Stanley Park. We were proud to be the Route Sponsors for this great community event. Congratulations to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. for such a wonderful event.
The For Children We Care Gala is one of the major events hosted by BC Children's Hospital Foundation every year. To contribute in giving the 22nd annual gala a kickstart, our team has raised $10,000 in funds towards the well-anticipated gala. This July 14th, our President (Arthur Chan) and the members of our high school team (Natalie Chan and Patrick Wang) were warmly welcomed by the graceful team from BC Children's Hospital Foundation, and were given a tour around the hospital to check out their new facilities. At the end of the tour, they even had the opportunity to meet with Teri Nicholas, the president and CEO of BC Children's Hospital Foundation, and had a cheque presentation. Stay tuned for the For Children We Care gala! It will...
If you were to ask any of our D2D Destiny members what we appreciate the most from volunteering, we would say the opportunity to try new things.
Today, 4 of our members (From right to left: Andy Ng, Nicole Poon, Perrin Leung, Stephanie Lau) got their first glimpse of a Chinese Opera concert when they volunteered as raffle ticket sellers at the Michael J. Fox Theatre. In only 3 hours, they sold $950 worth of raffle tickets, donated entirely to VGH + UBC Hospital Foundation!
