It was a chilly Sunday morning, but it didn't stop our volunteers and our spirits to participate in this Walkathon event that we work as a supporting organization for Chi Heng Foundation! Prior to the walkathon, we had been seeking sponsors and brainstorming of how we can accommodate all those who will participate the walk at Garry Point Richmond on May 29, 2016 at 10 AM. Thank you Karen Fang and Tobin Leung taking the leadership role in this event and making it successful! Happy Mother’s Day!
There’s many different ways to celebrate the day with all the inspirational mother figures in our lives, and this year, our D2D team decided to drop by the Richmond Centre for Disability and gift the mothers there with flowers.
Check out the great turnout! We’re so glad we took the time to see these delighted mothers and were able to contribute to the huge smiles on their faces.
Our team is constantly inspired by everyone around us, and on this Mother’s Day, we would like to express our thanks to our mothers who motivate and inspire us to make a difference in society and make them proud every day.
