The For Children We Care Gala is one of the major events hosted by BC Children's Hospital Foundation every year. To contribute in giving the 22nd annual gala a kickstart, our team has raised $10,000 in funds towards the well-anticipated gala.
This July 14th, our President (Arthur Chan) and the members of our high school team (Natalie Chan and Patrick Wang) were warmly welcomed by the graceful team from BC Children's Hospital Foundation, and were given a tour around the hospital to check out their new facilities.
At the end of the tour, they even had the opportunity to meet with Teri Nicholas, the president and CEO of BC Children's Hospital Foundation, and had a cheque presentation.
Stay tuned for the For Children We Care gala! It will take place on January 21, 2017, and all of the proceeds from the gala will support in the purchase of a heart-lung machine that helps cardiac surgeons save the lives of sick children.
