The start of 2018 has been remarkable. Last week our team had the honour and pleasure of meeting with Senator Yonah Martin.
Yesterday marked another chapter for our D2D Destiny Foundation; our President Arthur Chan & Vice President Nicole Poon had the opportunity to meet with UBC’s President & Vice-Chancellor, Professor Santa J. Ono. Topics discussed in the meeting included making a difference in the community and the UBC Blue & Gold Campaign
We are delighted to have President Ono on our Honorary Board. The D2D Destiny Foundation looks forward to a fruitful partnership with UBC & working together to help promising students get access to a life-changing education.
This weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting with Senator Yonah Martin. The Honourable Yonah Martin is a University of British Columbia alumni earning a Bachelor of Education in 1987. Our members were delighted to know we had the opportunity to speak with Senator Martin. Joined by our Honourary Board member, Professor Steven Minns of the UBC Sauder School of Business, we shared with Senator Martin our philanthropy journey. We started with sharing our work in the Young Ambassador Program, then leading into our current progress at D2D Destiny Foundation. Other topics of interest included grooming the next generation of leaders, as well as what it means to make a difference in our community. Our Youth Leadership Team members of benefitted greatly from...
Online auctions aren't our specialty or general channel of fundraising but this time we wanted to try something new.
Our foundation is always open to new and unique methods of fundraising and for the first time we introduced online auctioning on our site this year. It was an honour for the D2D Destiny Foundation to be the Online Auction Sponsor for this year's Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant in support of Chi Heng Foundation.
A night of where beauty crossed roads with love to support AIDS orphans in China. Congratulations to Chi Heng Foundation for raising $580,000 through the dinner gala and the D2D Destiny Foundation was glad to be part of this meaningful cause.

Many ideas were tossed around, but eventually the global chaos of 2016 helped us settle on the idea of “shared humanity.” We wanted to use the medium of film and the occasion of our festival to remind everyone of the goodness that we share in common. We found Sheway, an...
Kudos to our Hong Kong team's support for making this possible. Through money collected in our clothing drive and personal donations the D2D Destiny Foundation raised $10,752 back in July. At S.U.C.C.E.S.S Foundation's Walk with the Dragon celebration dinner the D2D Destiny team was recognized for our efforts and won the Gold Top Fundraising Award for our contribution.
